Phoenix West 209

We vacationed with another family amd the 10 of us had a wonderful time. The location is great and it's a bonus being on the second floor and really convenient to take the stairs down. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils ect. The ice maker is also a bonus for making frozen drinks or loading a cooler for the beach. It was cooler when we were there and only complaint is that we wished the outdoor pools were heated.

We had a nice stay this chilly week- pickleball and the indoor pool were key because it was too chilly to be in the outdoor water.

Loved the lay out. Great views of the gulf. The slide is right by the balcony which is nice to watch kids but the slide drowns out the sounds of the ocean waves.The beds were comfortable but extra thick so the fitted sheet wouldn’t stay on properly. Kitchen was outfitted with all we needed. Wifi was okay. Parking was super easy and great access to the room. Walk to the beach was delightfully short!

Indoor pool lighting was dim. Wished it were brighter.

Gym had plenty of exercise equipment.

Enjoyed a short drive (3 miles) to visit Gulf State Park.

We would consider this condo an option for the future.

The property was well maintained, spacious, updated with room both inside and outside. The office staff were friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant stay for our family.

Family of 14 w/7 kids & 7 adults had a blast. The accommodations were perfect. A little breezy and cold for the balcony but short trips to the beach worked fine.(No outdoor water play.) Thank you for making our time together so easy and stress free. Would love to repeat the experience.

The condo checked off all the boxes for our first family trip! So much so that we booked the condo for next year! Can't WAIT until next year to make even more SPECIAL MEMORIES! OUR ENTIRE FAMILY KIDS AND GRANDKIDS ARE EXCITED ABOUT GOING BACK NEXT YEAR!

Overall good experience. Unfortunately, we had an A/C issue immediately once we entered the unit. The management staff acted quickly and had the service technicians onsite within the hour! They resolved the issue immediately and even followed up later that evening just to be sure everything was working properly! Great service! The condo was spacious and comfortable for our family of nine. Beds were comfortable and the outdoor patio furniture was nice. However, the family room furniture, the kitchen appliances and cookware were not the quality we expected in this nice of a condo. The kiddos really loved the lazy river, water slide and pool!

This rental is perfect if you are looking for space! We had 6 adults and one grandchild (2y). Each couple and/or singleton had their own room and bathroom. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. My only complaint was with the master bath needs some repairs around the shower doors. The views on the private patio looking out at the ocean were absolutely stunning!
The property had all the amenities we were looking for to entertain our granddaughter-indoor/outdoor pools, lazy river, and water slide along with the beach, which is steps away. Grocery stores were close by as well as restaurants and attractions.
I appreciated the ease of checking in and getting parking passes for our vehicles. Will definitely look to stay here again if we take another trip to Orange Beach!

We had 8 adults and 5 kids so all the space we had was great; especially the open area. We used the kitchen every day for breakfast and lunch and we had plenty of pots, pans and dishes. Loved having 2nd floor parking and accessibility to the beach was great. It is very likely we would book again next year.

Our vacation rental experience was amazing. This condo is the favorite our family has stayed in-it is massive and nice. We had plenty of space for multiple families. There is abundant seating and the large balcony was great for the number of people we had traveling. We are already looking to book this same condo for next Fall!

Pretty pleased with condo. Excellent location, could use stairs and not wait on elevators!

Most relaxing, stress free week since last year.

The blue couches need to be replaced. They are worn out. The condo was great for our family vacation

Condo was 95% perfect. Some cleanliness issues, but manager resolved fairly quickly. I did send a message to the manager about the jacuzzi tub not working, but never heard back. My only real complaint is that the floor appears to be clean, but our feet were black almost immediately. I am sure it's from the enormous amount of sand that is dragged in every day, but that shouldn't happen on our first day before we had even been to the beach. Condo had plenty of space for 12 of us. Resort had several options for our party which included 6 children, ages 5-13. Pool area was always very clean.

The accommodations were very nice. Plenty of room for the 14 of us. Loved the view of the ocean from our large corner balcony.

We loved our stay at Phoenix West, 209. The condo is very comfortable and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed for a great week. Loved the location on the second floor and the beautiful view. We would go back.

Convenient to parking and grills. Love the condo and the amount of space. Kitchen was well stocked.

All was great! Only thing I noticed was a small leak in the laundry room and the dryer doesn’t dry very well.

Everything went great this week. All the staff was very courteous and helpful. The condo was very clean and stocked for our needs. I wished they did have a keurig coffee machine. There was 11 of us and we had plenty of room. We are looking forward to a return trip.

Our family has spent one week vacationing at Orange Beach/Gulf Shores long before condos were on the beaches, i.e, mid-70's camping at state park. Phoenix West has been our "go to" spot since it opened. Prefer to rent "x09" unit and decided to give this one a try. Concern about being able to see beach & ocean unnecessary...great views. Perfect for being able to take stairs instead of elevator to pools and beach, perfect for watching older kids in lazy river/water slide area from balcony, concern about lower level parking did not materialize, photos of unit inside speak for themselves...beautiful! Sturdy farm table and benches were great. All beds were comfortable. Sofas and chairs also comfortable, as was patio furniture. Kitchen amenities were good. Look forward to renting this unit again...hopefully next year.

Check in was easy. The unit was ready upon arrival. The unit needs a deep cleaning such as the rugs and furnishings.

We really enjoyed our stay at Phoenix West. There were 13 of us and we didn’t ever feel crowded in 209. We cooked every night and the kitchen was well stocked. The ice maker was a big hit! My only complaints would be that the floors of the condo weren’t as clean as they could have been. The bottom of the kids feet were dirty after walking around when we arrived. Also, with the pandemic it didn’t seem the facilities were being cleaned more often around the common areas of the lobby, stairwells, and elevators. The stair rails had paper on parts of the rails from the walls being painted previously so I know they weren’t being cleaned.

We had an awesome week! We had a bad day with the Tropical Storm coming in but the rest of the week was awesome. The condo was clean and very accommodating. They TV’s were awesome and kitchen well equipped. We loved the 2nd floor unit. Only problem is I was short and had to use the folding ladder to get up in the bed in Master. Thankful they had one to use LOL. Short people problems.

Beautifully furnished 4 bedroom condo! We enjoyed our stay with plenty of room for everyone. When we arrived one of the patio doors had large cracks in the glass. We called to let the manager know about it. They returned our call the following day to tell us they knew about it & new glass had been ordered. It would have been nice if they had left a note to inform us. I was worried that we would be held responsible. The property was clean & the patio and outdoor furniture was great overlooking the lazy river. However, we found the indoor jacuzzi On the 1st floor to be dirty. Once the jets stopped in the jacuzzi there was a scum on the surface & dirty ring around the tile. Never went in again.
Overall, our condo was beautiful & just as described.
Just a couple of small suggestions... there were no batteries in 2 tv remotes in the master bedroom. Someone should check these periodically. Also the woven rugs in the master bath need to have non-slip rug pads under them, as I almost slipped on several occasions.
I would definitely stay in this condo again & parking on the 2nd floor was an easy access to our room. However, I think guests should not have to pay for a parking pass if they are staying at the resort.

Perfect condo, we paid extra to be on a lower floor and it was well worth it. Not only is the condo on a low floor it is decorated so well. The views from the balcony are awesome and we also enjoyed watching the kids play on the water slide. Hope to get the same condo next year.

Unit and view were perfect. Super clean and kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans to prepare meals, large space was great for our large 3 family group.

It was clean, comfortable and just beautiful in every room. The views from the patio were nice and the furniture outside was great.
