Phoenix West 1009

Pros: Very nice furnishings, wide open space for gathering. Ice maker. Well maintained property, all staff helpful and friendly. Not crowded at all the week after Spring Break. Elevators fast and luggage, grocery carts plentiful. Quick email response from rental staff for a working Keurig coffee maker and hair dryer (unable to reach by phone # provided.)
Cons: Floors were very dirty, bottom of feet turned black without shoes. Fridge very small for only 7 people. Cooking pots and pans need updated. No knobs on toaster so difficult to push lever down. Would be nice to have at least 1 of the bathrooms handicap equipped, as in grab bars and high toilet.
We had high winds most of the days but overall a great stay for our family.

This 4 bedroom 5 bathroom with large great room was perfect for our family of fifteen. We loved having laundry facilities in our unit. The outer area was great as well. The fully furnished kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast and lunch. It had lots of extra pillows and blankets.
I wish the Phoenix had something set up with food pantries because we had lots of food that we purchased that we didn’t use.

Overall our experience was great. The condo was beautiful with an amazing view. It could use a deep cleaning there was mold in the master shower and the floors were dirty throughout. A couple kitchen drawers had paint peeling off. We rented thus condo because of the amenities and location were great the lazy river, slide and indoor pool, but do note if there is lighting in the area they close the outside pool area and the indoor pool area. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

The only thing we disliked was the light in the fridge. It always thought it was a party! It was flickering like a strobe light when you open the fridge door. Kind of blinding at night when it is dark. Not a major problem though.

This was an annual trip we make with family and friends, and Condo 1009 did not disappoint. There were a couple of hiccups we encountered but they were remedied pretty quickly. One was a broken flush lever in one toilet that my son repaired with a new one. And the owners need to add additional coffee cups. There were plenty of dishes but only 5 cups for our party of 13 coffee drinkers. We just improvised. The mattresses were comfortable on all the beds and couches with the exception of two roll-a-way bed mattresses which need to be replaced. The condo is beautiful, the balcony roomy, and the views were outstanding. We had so much fun! Our majority of our group was from Little Rock, AR but we had 3 family guests from Las Vegas, New York City, and Pennsylvania who were able to join us.

It was perfect. PW1009 was beautiful, decorated like a beach getaway theme, it felt homey and comfortable. The condo was very clean. It accommodated our family, especially with the 3 rollaway beds. Couldn’t ask for a better place to book.

We share this getaway with 3 other couples. This was our 4th year of doing this. This unit was very nice. The three swivel-rocking-recliners were a hit. For the most part, it was super. There were a couple issues when we arrived, but Charlotte took care of them quickly. And the door code changed and she also corrected that fairly quickly. Two things to pass on to Charlotte, the microwave needs the roller-ring that's missing and the queen size bed we slept in was made up with king size sheets. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

we had 6 adults and 5 children (11) this condo says it sleeps 14. It does,However the refrigerator is tiny, cooking utensils limited, and much about this condo is broken and dated, The bar stools are dangerous, leg supports are broken on most only someone very light weight under 100 lbs would it be safe.Dining room table has a glass cover however the table is so wobbly and bows in center we kept children away from it. If it breaks it will cut someone and that may not end well.balcony furniture is great!!! den furniture is just fine. Beds are all most uncomfortable. The leaseing people were trying so hard, our rental agent was even cleaning herself trying to make it presentable and pleasant. We were not wanting to complain and never called the agent even when a light over the kitchen bar dislodged from ceiling.We were there and and at that point it was what we had. Do not plan on puttiing 14 in this condo unless you just want to sleep, by no means is this a premier host condo as advertised. We left one day eartly.

We had a wonderful week in this large condo. It was clean and beautiful. No needs to call for anyone all week. Had all kitchen equipment for the simple cooking we did. There were 9 of us ages 4-75 and plenty of room. I would recommend this place to anyone as we used the beach, the pool, the slide and even indoor pools on windy beach days. We hope to return in the next few years and would definitely hope to stay here again.

We have stayed in this condo several times and it doesn’t disappoint!! Lots of space not only in the condo but the balcony as well Any problem is immediately taken care of. The interior is clean, comfortable and family friendly. We really enjoy our stays here and look forward to return visits.

This was our first time to Orange Beach. We go to PCB every year as a family. Due to Covid, we cancelled PCB to try out Orange Beach and we may change our tradition and head to Orange Beach from now on! Less traffic and crowds in Orange Beach! The Phoenix was recommended to us. The location, the view, the condo, the beach, the pools and lazy river were all perfect for our large family. We have 3 married children and they all have children so each family had one bedroom and bath to themselves!! This particular unit has great furniture for everyone to have a seat and the dining table is huge and fit all of us with some of the kids at the island bar stools. We had a great week here making memories!! The Hangout was our favorite restaurant and favorite ice shop was Sweet Cone Alabama!

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. It is a gorgeous spot! The balcony and beach view was fantastic!
We noticed a couple of minor things once we arrived (maintenance items only), and notified the owner (she emailed us first). They were willing to come repair them right away but we said no they could repair them when we leave. We ate every meal at the condo (due to the coronavirus) and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Unit 1009 was the PERFECT place for our family vacation! We had two condos for our 22 family members and this unit was our gathering place for family meals, football games and family Christmas exchange. Plenty of seating with room to spread out and enjoy our time together! We’ll definitely rent this unit again!

Spent a week here in November 2019. The place was gorgeous, well appointed and had a wonderful layout for adult couples traveling as a group. The check in process was streamlined and easy. The sunrises and sunsets from the balcony were something special. My only complaint had nothing to do with the property but with Orange Beach. Put sidewalks along that busy street or a boardwalk with street access points!

Great family experience. Plenty of room for all 10 of us from bedrooms, baths, dining, and living quarters to huge deck. Such a fun place to enjoy your family.

I booked this condo for our family vacation. This condo is wonderful cause I have sons with there families & everyone had their own privacy & rooms. This condo was very clean when we arrived. I will be booking this condo for our next family vacation.
