Phoenix IX 1108

Everything about dealing with Phoenix properties is easy, and our stay was wonderful. We three couples were totally spoiled by the spaciousness and amenities in Unit 1108. All the beds were super comfy. Huge bathrooms. Openness of kitchen, den, and eating area were perfect for socializing. BUT THE VIEW... breathtaking. We spent many hours watching for dolphins and sea life and listening to the symphony of the sea.

The couch by the glass wall was so worn out you felt swallowed up,! The floors left your feet black after walking around! And the bathroom toilet paper holder is still fallen off the wall so you have to put toilet paper on the floor or BacBack of toilet, hence was complained about in a 2021 review also,! The glass shelving needed dusting! One smoke detector was dangling off the ceiling in the hallway. Definitely need more coffee mugs !

No complaints. The unit was well maintained and the perfect size to accommodate two families of four for a week.

The corner condo was great with exceptional views. The condo was clean, roomy, close to Flora-Bama, and easy access to the beach. The indoor pool/hot tub facilities were okay considering we were staying in a smaller Phoenix complex. The hot tubs were not warm/hot the first couple of days we were there. Otherwise, everything was great.

6 years in this condo and perfect for our family. Charlie is fantastic to work with and attentive to any needs before and during stay. Thanks again

We have enjoyed all of our stays at Phoenix IX. The seating was great, the cookware was nice and non-stick, and there were great views! There were a few minor details that did not at all detract from the trip, but may help the owner to improve the experience even more! There were only 4 coffee mugs, the television had difficulty operating (also so many controllers!), two lights in the guest rooms were blinking, and one cabinet under the bar sink was broken. Like I said, this did not detract at all from our trip. I would definitely stay again!

Pictures do not show the beauty in this condo. The view is spectacular and the recliners in addition to the 2 sofas is right on for a large family. The beds are all comfortable and the 3.5 baths is great with multiple girls. We had a few issues during our stay but they were addressed in a very timely manner. Pool was very clean and the fitness area was small but nice.

Excellent location, very spacious, the balcony is absolutely huge, walking distance to FloraBama and the views were second to none.

This condo has so much potential but just like past resident reviews it definitely needs a deep cleaning/dusting and some of the living room furniture is old and worn. This shouldn't be an on going problem considering the price you have to pay.The fridge still leaks water(we had to put towels down on the floor) and the A/C temp is hard to adjust to the right settings. One part of the condo is freezing cold and the other side is hot. There were not enough chairs on the balcony to accommodate us all at the same time.Didn't bother to reach out to management because these issues have already been addressed quite a few times in the past. Now the good part. My family of 8 loved the views from this condo and it was super spacious

We had a great time on our family vacation. Beautiful Beach, we enjoyed the pool and just sitting on the balcony.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Phoenix IX. Great location, not too crowded, and everyone was very nice. The condo is very spacious, the views are exceptional and the beds were comfortable.
I would recommend that they get new skillets in the kitchen and it definitely needs a good cleaning. Those little things would not keep me from staying here again. Charlie from the management company was fantastic to work with and we can't wait to come back next year.

A great girls getaway. The condo was roomy and had all we needed. The ice maker didn't work, but there was an ice machine on site so we were able to use that ice which was fine. The Phoenix IX never disappoints...you are only a short walk on the beach from Flora-Bama!!

This condo was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. Everything was nice and neat and it was soooo spacious.

The property was amazing just as described. There's was plenty of room for our family to spread out and be certain comfortable.The iees were fantastic. We saw dolphins almost every night from thr balcony.The mattress were perfect for us. Check and parking were easy and no wait on the elevator. We had no issue at all in thr condo so we never had to call out for help. I would highly recommend this condo and we are planning on going back next year. All of the staff we incountered as extremely nice and helpful. The popular destination of Flora Bama is only a short walk down the beach just make sure if someone in your party is under 21 you make it vaxk through before 6:30 or you'll have to walk on thr road to get back to thr condo

This is our 4th year in a row heading down to Orange Beach in December for family birthday celebrations.

Each year we have been impressed and this year delivered in spades. It was our first time staying in this unit and it was amazing. Perfect for our family of four. I would definitely recommend this location and this unit. The personnel on the grounds are also great.

The kitchen needs to be restocked. Pans and skillets terrible. Only 2 spoons. So it made it very difficult to have cereal for family of 8 or ice cream! Our feet were black after walking barefoot putting our things away in our rooms. For the positive the condo was absolutely beautiful and the views were outstanding!! Loved loved the condo!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Phoenix! The property was easily accessible, spacious and well kept. The views were spectacular! The kitchen was a little sparse, but otherwise the stay was a perfect "10"!

We loved the condo and the unit. Very spacious. Beach was never crowded. Easy, short walk from unit to the beach. We’ll definitely stay here again, just maybe in a different unit. Condo wasn’t very clean and it needs a deep cleaning. Also needs additional cutlery. There were only about 7 forks.

1108 was the best place I have stayed! The parking was so easy an easy access to our condo. The condo was huge an had so many perks! The ice maker at the wet bar was a huge bonus! I have to say that the views was the best! We had a view from every room! Every room had a balcony with a beautiful view! We could see the bay an the ocean. Absolutely the best!

We love staying in Phoenix IX. This unit is one of our favorites. The view is very nice and the rooms spacious.

Beautiful place. Only downfall couldn’t use big garden tub because hot water knob did not work. Also the floors were sticky and dirty. Other than that it way lovely

The condo has great views and lots of space but is in need of some major maintenance. Black mold in shower, jacuzzi tub won't hold water, light in the shower won't work, no cover on the light in the closet, multiple lightbulbs out (like 12), sliding door is incredibly hard to open, beds are super firm and uncomfortable. The ice machine was great and the water spout in the refrigerator was very handy. Floors seemed clean, parking was easy.

Unit 1108 is perfect! So much space and views from every room. If you are looking for a rental with plenty of room and in a great location then book today! The property is so clean with wonderful amenities! Can’t wait to come back and will stay in 1108 again!

This property is in an excellent location! It was clean, great parking. Beautiful views in every room in this unit. Nice pools. We loved how well it accommodated our party and the extra ice maker. Everyone had ocean view from their room. LOTS of closet space and storage. Wrap around balcony was huge with plenty of seating! Beautiful bedroom furniture. Mattresses were decent. Every room has its own bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils and cups although we had to purchase skillets (the ones provided were in rough condition) and the coffee maker didn’t have a pot anywhere in the unit. There were a few small maintenance issues with the unit. Lots of blown bulbs, which someone did bring us a handful during our stay. Light fixture in the shower was falling, dusty fixtures and shelves, toilet paper holder falling off the wall and a loose shower fixture.
We did have one encounter the morning after we checked in. After a morning on the beach, we came back to our room to find the cleaning ladies in there. They were confused as to why we were there. They were under the impression we had checked out despite all of our stuff being in the unit. There were 2 women and a small child in there (who had ahold of my daughters ipad when we walked in the door) with a cart of cleaning supplies. They quickly left after they realized they were in the wrong unit. I brought it up to the man at the front desk and he was very insincere and unhelpful.
Overall we had an excellent stay and great vacation.

Large roomy condo !! Could use some updates but comfortable !!

We've stayed multiple years in this unit. We love the location, view, and unit. Overall it was a great experience as always. Such great memories staying here. The only critical feedback I'd give is there are some things that need repaired: mirror was falling out of the wall in guest room, blinds were broke in 2 rooms which limited ocean views, bar fridge was not secure which resulted in door not closing at times, kitchen faucet needs some adjusting as you have to angle it just right to turn it off. Otherwise, perfect stay. Thank you.

Our group of 5 found the number of beds, bathrooms, living and dining room seating, kitchen utensils and appliances, panoramic views, on site amenities, overall cleanliness and access to the private beach to make for a perfect vacation.

The condo did need a good dusting but nothing more than most of us probably have in our own homes at any given time. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and we enjoyed having an ice maker in the condo, as well as a washer and dryer.

We all agreed that we would gladly stay in this unit again.

Condo was very dirty. We washed two sets of sheets as appeared to be slept on . Bar area ( where wine glasses, etc were was very, very dusty. Floors were sandy. Very, very disappointed in the cleanliness. We have stay in this exact condo before and had no issues . The view is the best on the beach, quite as it is on a corner.

We had 2 families sharing this space - more than enough room, comfortably slept 9. The place was great! Clean, had all the necessities for a weekly rental, family friendly. We watched dolphins every day from the balcony even had our own air show!! the Blue Angels were doing some training exercises and flew over the waters in front of our building.
The property manager contacted us as we checked in making sure every thing was in order, we had some questions about the parking and he was very responsive and helpful. This area is not in the center of the tourism - it is about a 10 minute drive to the busier areas. Plenty for the kids to do - we took in the zoo one day just because the weather wasn't beach friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to return!! Highly recommend if you are planning a trip.

The condo was amazing. Tons of room, classy decor, perfect pools & fitness area. The location was amazing. Away from the really crowded area but enough people to still be entertained.

Our apartment was better than the virtual tour. Tastefully furnished, well equipped and able to accommodate our six with togetherness and privacy. Our apartment was clean (when we arrived) and well maintained. The view was spectacular with easy access to the pool, exercise room and the beach. We would recommend this property not only friends and relatives but to anyone. Good restaurants are plentiful with great "costal" food, at reasonable prices and the servers were, without exception fantastic. We ate out most meals and never had a bad experience. We could have easily prepared meals in the apartment with good grocery stores nearby.

We had a great time there and this unit 1108 is just the right size for us but we noticed this year it did need some cleaning. Other than the cleaning it worked great for us.

Beautiful condo with plenty of space to stretch out. We really enjoyed it!

This property is in a great location but the tile floors are very dirty and the carpets have numerous stains.

After so impressed with Phoenix IX 1108 in 2018, it was very disappointing in 2019. The corner piece of the Master shower was broken off and laying in the walk-in closet. The support piece for the kitchen cabinet top was laying on the cabinet top. There was dog hair on the floors and blankets in the closet. The carpets were stained with dark spots. The water was difficult to turn off in the Master Bath tub. The piece that turns the water on & Off was very loose and needed repair. The "Mr. Coffee" coffee maker did not work. There was a hole in the screen door going to the deck which was there in 2018 also. When I brought these things to the attention of the front desk, I was told that 1108 was not one of their condos, that I would need to contact Phoenix Rentals. The letter I received stated that I would be charged $30 for parking. I was charged $38 for parking one vehicle. I will most likely not rent this condo next year.

We loved this condo! The location and the facility was very convenient and not crowded at all. Parking was always available, and we loved the fast elevators with no waiting or crowding. It was a quick walk to the beach and was a beautiful spot. The rental itself was great, although our coffee pot didn't work, and we didn't get one brought until the day before we were leaving. It was clean and well-stocked, and we did not want to leave! Thanks for a great stay. Charlie the manager was very helpful through text and email.

This is out second year in this condo and we absolutely love it! Been in other condos at Phonex IX but this is by far our favorite. Already booked for next year in August.

Very spacious condo! Unit was very clean. The only issue we had was with the constant smell of cigarettes the first few days on our balcony (smoking is not allowed on balconies), and building mgmt and security staff were very helpful in trying to resolve the situation. They took it very serious. Also, as mentioned before, two of the bedrooms have open bathrooms. We bought a cheap shower curtain rod and curtain to solve for that. I would absolutely recommend this unit to others and we will be back!

The condo is a great place to enjoy the beach. Amenities are excellent. Our group of ladies loved the pool area with ample shade to retreat from the sun, the short walk to the surf was fantastic, and the wrap around balcony was wonderful. We look forward to renting again next year.

We loved the condo. We went to the beach everyday and loved how clean and private the area was. Would recommend this to everyone. Condo management staff excellent and very helpful. Everything was 10-15 minutes away from the condo and easy access. We did have to buy a cutting board. Would recommend having batteries for the remotes for we had to purchase those to replace the batteries to use the dish remote. Thank you for sharing your condo. fantastic place!

Have stayed in many units in Orange Beach and would definitely return to this unit! Entire complex is well maintained. Loads of room. Kitchen well equipped and best of all is the amazing view!

Property is the best layout we have ever come across in the 14 years of coming to the beach. 2 Master suites was awesome.
Charlie from the management company was fantastic to work with. He followed up with us several times to make sure our trip was going well.
As previous reviews state the carpet is dirty in bedroom and screens have a few holes. I personally love carpet in my bedroom so I had no problem with that.
Only recommendation I would have is to include more kitchen items (crock pot, griddle, vegetable peeler) that being said there was plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware.
If first time to OBA I suggest Florabama (walking distance), Cobalt (especially for happy hour) and Gulf (Nice day weather as it's outside).

Booking the condo and checking in was easy. Great communication via email from booking all the way through. The condo is located in the perfect area for our needs. Overall the condo was clean and no complaints. The kitchen was stocked but was missing little things like a cutting board. We enjoyed our stay and will book again.

This was a beautiful condo in a great location. My only negatives about it would be (since this was for a girls trip) There should be more seating outside on balcony and there are no doors going to Master bathrooms (only door for toilet area)

I would defiantly stay at this particular room again. It was clean and had all the amenitys that made everything more enjoyable.

One of the best condos we have ever rented in Orange Beach over the last 30 years. We will definitely be reserving this condo again. The only negatives which we will bring up, just because we think you would like to know, would be then need for some new cookware in the kitchen and holes in the sliding screen doors leading to the deck for which we really never used. Some of the silverware and dishes placed in the cabinets and drawers on our arrival still had some food particles on them. We just re-washed them and it was fine. There was a leak from a air-conditioning unit above us that required maintenance people to place dehumidifiers in our condo. They came into our condo while we were out. We felt they should have called us first, however under the circumstances, they probably needed to get in asap. They came back the next day and were very nice and respectful and explained the situation. Ms. Charlotte Roberts was very helpful, kind, understanding, and appreciated by our family. We look forward to renting through her again.

We had a great vacation this year as usual. We’ve been coming for about 7 years as a group of 6 adults. It’s our adult time away from family and friends for 9 whole days. We love the Phonex IX but out first year to stay in unit 1108. We love that unit and have already booked for next August.

The condo was amazing... Plenty of room for the 4 adults and 3 children under 9 to roam about and play. beautiful views of the ocean, comfy beds, un-crowded beach. we have always gone to Destin but due to the over crowding and construction there I think we have found a new place for our beach trip

I stayed with my husband, two sons, ages 19, 22, my parents and nephew, age 21. We had an amazing time. We would definitely stay at the same place again. Condo had everything we could possibly need. We also played tennis several times during the week on the rooftop court.

The condo is very large and spacious with amazing views. The condo is decorated beautifully and includes every amenity needed. All three bedrooms are very spacious and have floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the gulf. The balcony, which is very large, can be accessed from each bedroom as well as the living room.
Not only are the condo and views amazing but the owner is also a delight to work with. We enjoyed our vacation so much that we are already planning our return trip to the Phoenix IX 1108. We highly recommend this condo!
