Phoenix Orange Beach 501

We have visited Orange Beach every October for the past 11 years. We stay in a Phoenix building each time. This was our first time in Phoenix Orange Beach, and the facility and accommodations were great. Getting to the beach was easy. Unfortunately the weather was much cooler than previous years so we were only able to enjoy the beach one of the five days we were there. The rental unit itself was nice. The balcony is very relaxing, and it is nice being in a corner unit. The kitchen didn't have some of the the things we would expect, such as a coffee pot. It had a Keurig, but it didn't have a refillable pod where we could use our coffee grounds, so we would have had to buy the k-cups. There also were not any hot pads/oven mitts or dish rags for dishes we wanted to wash when we didn't have enough to run the dish washer. As far as cleanliness, everything was in pretty good condition, however, the couch could use a good cleaning. Also, I had messaged the owner through the VRBO app before the trip with a question but never received a reply, but I was able to find the answer through another resource, and I messaged again during our stay and never heard back. I later reread the check-in email that said to email him or call with questions, so he may not utilize the VRBO messaging option, so keep that in mind if you need to reach out. Overall, fantastic unit and building. 5th floor was a great option to see the beach well without being so far up thar elevator times take long. We would love to stay in this unit again!

Our 2nd year in this condo. We enjoy the convenient location for shopping and food. Our new favorite was walking down to Coastal for a frozen cocktail. The property is well maintained and clean. The common spaces always clean. We enjoy this condo because of the convenient parking and the fastest elevators on the beach. Two things - there is no coffee maker, but there is Keurig. The vacuum cleaner was not working so it was hard to clean up sand. There was nine of us and we never felt crowded. Love this unit.

This condo was a last minute decision due to issues with our original condo, the room is just okay. Very basic, not a lot of essentials in the room. The vacuum did not work, at all. Which reflected on the floors cleanliness. A huge complaint is no real coffee pot, they have a Keurig but not a normal pot. The ice machine didn't work and had mold growing inside of it. A plus side was all the beds were extremely comfortable!

I would not stay here again.

Wonderful family vacation. Condo was beautiful & perfect for us- great location, easy check in & checkout. Parking was easier than most places. Kids loved the slide & lazy river. Saw dolphins from the balcony most days. Would definitely love to stay here again!

We’ve stayed at this condo many times (different units) and it never disappoints! Excellent location, customer service, amenities, clean building, friendly staff and so much more! 501 was a great unit. It had everything we needed (except scissors & a small pot to cook in). The floors were the cleanest we’ve ever seen and the unit as a whole was clean. No complaints!

This was an introductory trip to Orange Beach for our three year old grandson. He is a Pacific Northwest resident so we wanted him to experience our fluffy white sand beaches. Our accommodations help to make this trip a special memory for him and his parents, Aunt and grandparents. Our unit was clean and functional. There are some minor repairs that need to be attended to, but not anything that would cause a disruption at this point.
I would recommend this unit for any future visitors to Orange Beach. It is so convenient to the beach, stores and restaurants.

Beautiful condo complex. Our condo was beautiful. Very happy with our stay. A few minor things tho. The cushions on the patio loungers were ripped and falling apart. The door to the washer/dryer would not stay closed. The kitchen faucet leaked. Saw these things posted on line before our stay. They still weren’t fixed! Been coming to Gulf Shores for decades and love it!

Everything we need for a great week!

We stayed at a Phoenix property for the first time and we were really pleased. The process for getting room access codes and parking passes was really easy and convenient. We liked the Orange Beach location due to shopping being really close. The fact you exit your condo door into a large hallway versus an exposed balcony was nice. The property was clean and well maintained and elevator speed and access was never an issue. This location had two indoor hot tubs and small wading pool and that was used a lot. The check out process was easy and we feel like this was one of best properties we have stayed in so far.

This beach front rental was everything. The unit was very clean with nice furniture. The beds were very comfortable. Unit was spacious and kitchen was fully equipped. I would definitely visit again

Fantastic! The condo was perfect (and just as described) for our group, we loved the lazy river and amenities. Phoenix Rentals was great to work with and we’ll be back!

This unit is in a great location and suited our two families (8 total) nicely. It was clean, the view is wonderful and the master bed is super comfortable! Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we did have some issues. On the first day, we had to have maintenance come to replace the garbage disposal as it wasn't working properly and was leaking below the sink. Maintenance responded quickly and were very nice. The toilet seat in the master bathroom needs to be tightened and the toilet paper holder is broken in there also. There are multiple knobs missing from furniture pieces as well. We saw some of these complaints in previous reviews, but figured they'd be fixed by the time we arrived. There is a cracked and hanging shelf in the refrigerator. We were afraid to touch it or put anything in it as it may completely break. We had to purchase batteries for two of the tv remotes that were dead and could never get the second king bedroom tv to work properly even after replacing batteries. It's also important to note that while the kitchen has several items available to use and cook with, there are absolutely no 'extra touches'. They gave us 1 dishwasher pod and a small dawn dishsoap for an entire week and it's in the check out instructions that you have to run the dishwasher when you none for you to use during your stay. Same thing with laundry. As a short term rental owner, we are aware that these things are not provided in full, but to have 2 or 3 dishwasher/laundry pods would be nice, especially for a condo this size. It is mentioned in the information that they send prior to check in that there are no spices or beach in case you want to know up salt/pepper/spices of any kind/sugar/plastic wrap/aluminum foil/beach towels/beach toys/chairs/cards, board games or puzzles for rainy days.

We enjoyed our time here. This was a family vacation to relax and enjoy some warmer temps. The views were amazing.

We had stormy weather most of the week and we’re thankful for the great indoor pool. The condo was perfect for our large group. 6 adults and 6 children. Everyone was comfortable and there was plenty of room. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Orange Beach property! Our group of 9 loved it and we never felt cramped. It was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and you could not beat the location. It had all of the amenities we needed for meals in the unit for the times we wanted to stay in. We loved the convenience of a parking garage that went to our floor (5) and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. There were grocery stores, department stores, souvenir shops and tons of restaurants right across the street. We would highly recommend this property and would love to visit again in the future!

The condo was beautiful and perfect size for our family. The location was great since it was close to activities and when we got back to the condo the kids could use the pool or lazy river or hit the beach. We loved sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning and then walk the beach before starting the day. Perfect vacation.

We had an amazing girl’s weekend here. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. It offered the space to gather as a group and the 4 bedroom allowed everyone ample privacy. The view from the balcony was dreamy. We will be back

Very spacious and clean. We only had three people so plenty of room

This was a perfect place for our large family vacation. We woke up each morning and headed right to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. The accommodations were wonderful!!

It is a lovely place to stay. The view is beautiful. The layout of the condo is great , as it offers a lot of privacy.

Beautiful view of the beach and the house is nice but needs a deep cleaning. When we arrived we noticed the master Bedroom duvet was covered in sand and sunscreen and when we pulled back the sheets there was a long black hair. We contacted management who instructed us to contact housekeeping. When we did she was apologetic but couldn’t come to fix the problem until the next day. So we had to strip the bed and wash all the bedding ourselves. Not the first thing you really want to do on your first day at the beach. One of the shower curtains had pink and black mold all over it. The toilet seat in master bathroom is broken. We could see piles of dirt under the living room furniture and beds, along with food. Normally you wouldn’t even look but it is all very visible because of the height of it all. There was no broom or vacuum anywhere in the condo and no response when I asked the management where I could find one. Be prepared to buy every supply you will need and to launder the towels if you’re going to be there for any length of time. We would have had to pay another for a rental bed for our toddler grandson so we opted to make a pallet on the floor for him which wasn’t ideal. I feel this should have been included with the price of the condo. We stayed a week. There was plenty of room for our family of 7 so that was a plus. We stayed in more than we normally do and did most of our meals in due to Covid. The kitchen had all of the cooking supplies we needed which was great. As I said in the title the condo is nice but needs some TLC and some niceties added for convenience. We had to leave a day early due to hurricane Sally and they did reimburse us for that night which was an unexpected nice surprise.

The room was immaculate and well furnished. The kitchen was first class as were the beds. My family and I had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time in Orange Beach and the condo was lovely.

After being locked down for months due to covid, our family desperately needed a break. The unit was perfectly proportioned for our gang. Bedding was comfy and common areas were spacious and well appointed. We love the balcony and appreciate when owners put chaise lounges and comfortable seating on it. Overall, everything we needed was there. The tile floors could use a good steam cleaning as our socks were very dirty from just walking on it. That’s really the only controllable issue with that particular unit. It’s a beautiful, light and airy condo. We really loved it and would definitely come back.

We stayed as a girl's weekend, and the condo was absolutely fantastic. Tons of room and enough beds for everyone to be very comfortable. Bathrooms are very spacious. We loved the property itself-easy beach access and a great pool. It was very convenient to be located so close to grocery stores, as well. Would definitely recommend this unit and would definitely want to return. Only thing missing was a dish sponge!

We loved our recent trip to Orange Beach. The accommodations were wonderful! The fifth floor is perfect for the view and the convenience. I highly recommend this property and this unit! We will be back!

Great layout for multiple families. Perfect location. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Gorgeous views and great balcony space. Would love to visit again!
Only minor complaint is the refrigerator didn’t stay very cold. We adjusted but didn’t make a difference, would suggest someone taking a look. Thanks so much for a great stay!
