Phoenix V 1101

Good location but the Condo needs some updates: Many loose tiles on floor, needs repainting in Living area, no remote for TV, no smart TVs to load your own TV apps, slow internet, worn out pots & pans, numerous burned out bulbs. One other note: elevator accessibility is bad, WAY over utilized by tenants.

Amazing experience- loved the condo and resort! Only negative feedback is about the splash pad. The ground was very slippery and we watched our own toddler and many other kids slip on the same spot going around to the slide. One kiddo hit their head. Would love to see the resort invest in some type of non-slip flooring to make this safer. Otherwise, zero complaints!

Great location for kids but this unit was not kid friendly. The beds was not comfortable. We enjoyed the splash pad and pool and location to beach. Lots of eating places near by.

Overall the conditions of our condo
Has deteriorated in the past few years. Both bathrooms had stopped up drains in the sinks. The kitchen utensils (pans. Etc) are in bad shape. We had a leak in our bathroom but the maintenance manwasjohnny on the spot and fixed it. We have enjoyed staying in this condo but the condition is taking some of that away.

We enjoyed the beach and our vacation. The condo was not up to par though. The dishwasher was broken, none of the pans would cook your food without burning it as everything stuck to it no matter if you used butter, oil, or non stick spray. There was dried pee around the toilet upon our arrival in the master bedroom. Anything you plugged into outlet fell out, and the beds were very very uncomfortable. We will not be using this condo again. We made the most out of trip though and enjoyed our time together as family.

Family vacation

Wonderful view, unit was clean. Check in and out very easy. Kitchen needs cookware that everything doesn’t stick so bad and also needs more than one dish towel. Other that that it was perfect

Everything at the condo was as described. We never had any trouble with our stay. The 3 bedrooms were a perfect size for us. We loved the view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. We used the pool and splash pad and loved that it was all family friendly. Phoenix V was close enough to OB and GS that we could drive to either easily. One night we enjoyed the fireworks at The Warf from our balcony.

It was nice. the room smaller than I expedited. I really enjoyed the stay with my family and we had a great time. I would like to say thank you to Jill for helping us with our room. She is so nice and very helpful.

Dishwasher wouldn’t open up but we were pleased with the rest of the condo.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, the view of the ocean was beautiful to wake up to every morning! The kitchen was very bright clean and had everything we needed for our stay . The balcony construction was a bit of a surprise and that would be our only negative impact . Overall iwe loved the Phoenix and would definitely recommend!

This was a very nice and clean vacation rental. We loved our stay here! Wasn't too far from all the attractions. We will definitely stay here again!! The people who manage it kept it very clean and the floors dry!

I would not book room 1101 again. Property location is great and the pool/grounds are well kept. This room is not however. The furniture is stained, guest bath not updated and fairly dirty (looks like mold on air vents), no pillow cases left for extra pillows in closets, etc. We enjoyed the property in general but wished the room were well kept based on how much we paid. Not worth it for this room. We stayed in another room at same property last month and it was so much better.

We have stayed in this condo a few times. The updates are nice. The condo needs a deep clean and a little maintenance. Having people in an out doesn't lend itself to that often. The dryer needs replaced as it takes 2 cycles to dry clothes. The couch bed/mattress is not able to be slept on and needs replaced. Overall, if you are looking for space on the beach, it is a great location and condo. Also, the new check in time of 4:30 is a little late. We are paying for that day/night and losing almost the entire day is a bit disheartening.

At check in room smelled old and musty. The shower had mold and mildew all around the faucets. I went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and air fresheners to use for the duration of our stay. Will not rent this unit again. The fan in front bedroom had a blade that was about to fall so so it wasn’t useable during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo had a few things we noticed that was not the usual condition:the bathroom sink in the master suite was clogged. It ran out very slowly. The tub in the hall also ran out slowly. It was not as clean as it usually was. The sliding door to terrace was very hard to open and close. A rubber piece was in between the doors. There was a place on the wall on the east side of the living area closest to hall that looked like someone had hit it. The “ shell” table on wall between kitchen and hallway was filthy. I meant to clean it myself and I completely forgot! I know this sounds picky but I think you all need to know. There was also a crack in master shower above the faucet. Thank you all.

Would not recommend. Was not clean and smelled of cigarette smoke. Precious guests clothes were found under a bed. One of the fans was so unstable we couldn’t use it. The dining room chairs were broken. My 2yr old almost fell out of the back of one bc the wicker back was so broken. Some sort of grease on cabinets and ceiling above microwave/stove. Overall just not a great condo

This condo was very outdated. Ceiling fans were covered with dust. Ceiling fan in room with queen bed was missing a screw on one of the blades so it was dangling. Mold on the shower liners. Mildew/mold in the showers. Dining room chairs were broken. Comforters smelled musty. Sliding door to balcony was extremely hard to open. Had to run dryer through 2 cycles to actually dry clothes. Could use a few more bath towels for a condo that sleeps 10.

Awesome trip. Condo was as described. Good contact with owner. Clean condo as was the whole building. Helpful and friendly staff. Great to have an ice maker in the frig. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Beach is wonderful.

Our family had a wonderful experience staying here. The corner view was exceptional and the large patio was a bonus. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had ample cookware and tableware. This was our first time renting at the beach. We plan on returning!

Our condo was exactly as described online! We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The splash pad was broken because of a recent hurricane so that was a bummer. But the indoor and outdoor pool were available and very nice!! I would bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, especially if you have a large group. One of each was provided. Overall, great place for our short girls get-away!!

Overall we had a great stay. The renovated kitchen was especially nice. The kids loved the splash pad.

We had such a good time at Phoenix 7. The condo was clean and looks like has had some upgrades recently. Liked being low with still great views of the Gulf!

Upon first entering the condo everything looked great. As we got settled in and took a closer look I found several things that made me very unhappy. For starters, the cream colored couch in the living room is filthy, the green rocker chair is equally filthy. We put sheets and blankets over them. In the bedroom with two double beds-the pillows were dirty. Lipstick and stains on the pillowcase and the actual pillow looked like it had never been washed. Drool stains, etc. The two pillows in the closet we dirty as well with stains. I have photos of this. The vent in the hall bathroom dripped water. We had 3 small children with us on the trip and I felt stressed the entire time because the condo was so nasty. There was candy from previous guests on the floor, dirty floors in the kitchen, the oven door had food drippings on it. The balcony chairs are falling apart-literally. The only nice thing was the view of the ocean from the balcony. I will never stay at The Phoenix V ever again.

The Condo and property was beautiful. Our room was tastefully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The living room sofa needs cleaning or replaced. Other than that it was perfect.

They do need more elevators.

We enjoyed the area every time we visit, this propery was great because of the children’s splash park. The condo itself needs the patio furniture replaced and a lot of the kitchen items were missing. The cleaning service is not doing a great job all corners were dirty. The front bathroom tub/shower is in need of repair no pressure and not draining. The elevators in this are horrible during check in and check out.

Our family has been vacationing in the Orange Beach area for over 35 years. We have spent the last 10-15 years at the Phoenix V. The bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable. Elevators were very congested and one of the 4 was not working at all for a couple of days. We are dissatisfied with the beach rules on where you can place a tent.

Beautiful location, however the property needs updating. Furniture, linens and especially the patio furniture. There was no furniture on the front patio and the rear (beach) patio furniture was sad. Dried and brittle plastic straps that break when you sit on it. While it was quite scenic, we expected something nicer for the rate that was charged. The front desk staff was also not very helpful with a very simple request.

We had a fantastic time , the condo was just as expected from the pictures . The amenities were perfect the little kids loved the splash of . The views from the balcony we amazing . We watch dolphins jump and play everyday one day there was at least 8 at one time . Would recommend to anyone and will return !

This is my second year to stay at Phoenix V. We love it because of the splash pad for the kids and the indoor pool especially since it's been cold our last 2 spring breaks. Everything about this unit was ok except the living room area is small and the furniture needs updating. There is only a couch and the rocking chair that you see in the pictures and both are worn and stained. The beds were comfortable and everything else had been updated. Also under the beds and couch had not seen a cleaning in awhile. I'm sure when the owners are made aware of these findings the will make the changes to bring this unit up to par. We did have a good time!

Our vacation was amazing and our condo was beyond what we could have expected.The staff was very nice and helpful. Our condo was perfect and in a great spot on the corner with a wrap around balcony.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Phoenix V 1101. There were 4 adults and 5 kids. The bedrooms were large. In the middle room with two doubles, we also put in two packnplays for the two youngest - and gave the three older the two doubles. Loved the relaxing view from the balcony, overlooking the beach and gulf. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great experience during our stay in Orange Beach. The condo had everything we needed to cook with during our stay. It was nice to be able to walk onto the balcony and see the ocean waves crashing the shore below. We had a wonderful family vacation!

This condo offered amazing views and very comfortable beds. The place could use a little TLC and kitchen upgrade, but overall a nice stay.

The property could also use a little TLC and a full inspection and maintenance on the elevators - very scary; both my son and myself were stuck in an elevator, as were almost every guest I spoke with over the 3-day stay.

We had a fantastic stay in the Phoenix V! Great balcony with beautiful views. The only issue we had was the range took almost 30 minutes to preheat but overall a great place to stay!

The accommodations were excellent and were as advertised. Great colors and decoration throughout. Phoenix V has great facilities with indoor access to pool and hot tubs. Views were great. A couple of minor concerns. The bed sheets and pillows have seen better days. The couch has some serious stains. The internet connection was intermittent and weak.Don't think that is the fault of this unit. These items did not distract for a great experience. Would rent this unit again.

Very comfortable, felt like home! Had everything we needed for a weeks stay with 4 adults and 5 children ages 15 to 6. Spacious, privacy and a beautiful view! Kitchen had all we needed as we cooked in every night and also took advantage of the grills in the pool area! The Phoenix V is the place to stay. Great security always felt safe with our kids! Would definitely recommend this to friends.

Nice condo, plenty of room, my advice to the owners would be to have the unit detailed and not just a 3 hour cleaning after its used. A 5 dollar shower curtain would do wonders, wash the cabinets real good so there not sticky. The management company was awesome.

My only complaint about the condo was the dirty floors. My grandson's feet were black from the dirty floor. The 2nd bathroom was tiny! The view from the balcony was great! The kitchen had everything we needed. Julia from the property management was great to work with.

The rental had a few minor problems but one call and everything was corrected the same day. I have never encountered such a quick response. My family loved the rental and plan on returning.
