Phoenix V 404

The condo was in a great location but needs updates. The maid was in our room cleaning when we arrived after 4. Do not feel it was cleaned very well before our stay.

We stayed at this complex because some of our family also had rented a condo here. Phoenix V in Orange Beach is an older complex that needs to be renovated. Terrible elevator situation with long wait times during the day, hot tubs were only inside, very small for a complex this size, and parking was terrible. Very few handicap spaces. The unit we were in was a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit, which was overpriced at over $3,800 for Saturday to Saturday. The kitchen in our unit had a damaged refrigerator, coffeemaker was basic manual shutoff variety, no keurig, basic kitchen supplies etc...condo had small white thin towels etc...for bathrooms, but the condo was clean. It would have been nice to have an adult pool and a separate kids pool, and same for hot tubs. With all the newer condo complexes in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, and in neighboring beaches eastward to Florida such as Pensacola Beach to Panama City Beach, I will look into accommodations at a different complex for future stays.

Relaxing visit for our family of four (2 children under the age of 7).

Plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy.
Tons of room in the rental.

We have enjoyed our second stay in Orange Beach . We came here last year in June and I wanted to stay in same place and same room ! It’s convenient to everything and great views from room ! Great stay .

First time at the beach, loved the condo. Very clean and prefect for our family of 5. Pheonix V is a great place to stay. Kids enjoyed to splash pad too. Lots of local good food too

The rental experience was great, check in went smoothly and it was after hours. Only surprise was on our third day we came back from beach to find a man in our condo bathroom, said he was sent by rental company to address a leak from the condo below. He had tools, left for a few minutes, cam back got his tools and left. Seemed odd because we hadnt received any notice prior. But the rest of the stay was great. The pool and splashpad were great as we had 3 children in our party. Check out was simple with very easy instructions as to what we needed to do. Would rent again.

The Phoenix V condo boasts a wonderful location & was close to everything we needed! The view of the beach from the master bedroom and living room was exquisite! The condo itself had decent space for our family of six. The front bedroom with the two queen beds had room mostly for just the beds, but given we were at the beach or pool all day, we didn’t really need more space there. As far as the amenities provided in the condo - this is where we would have loved to see better quality towels and toiletries. Towels were very thin and small, and a few more provisions in terms of hand soap, toilet paper, dish soap were needed. This is the only rental we’ve ever stayed in where we’ve had to provide these things for ourselves. The “starters“ of soap provided by the condo were basically negligible and were good for one day. Friends of ours had three bedroom condos in Phoenix V, and these were far and above better quality than the two bedroom condo.

The room was very nice. Was not impressed with the shower in master. Not good at all for a tall person. Master was small no dresser however, there was a small closet along with a full closet. Appliances were all dated. The washing machine an dryer NEED to be replaced. Again, the room was satisfactory as we sent most of our time out and about.
I would recommend this property for those under 6 feet.

With having 2 children that played in ball tournaments we didn’t get much time at the beach or pool. If you have a busy schedule stay on a lower floor otherwise you will be waiting for an elevator forever! Room was fair not super clean with some dirty dishes in cabinets, bathroom showers were gross with mold or mildew in the sliding doors and a missing drawer in one bathroom, crunched up chips under coffee table and sofa sleeper , and sand in sofa sleeper. Wish we could’ve gotten in a little earlier if I knew our first evening ( can’t check in until after 4:30 p.m) would be cleaning up.
Only one sided communication. Sent a message asking if we could get in any earlier with no response but they messaged me a few times asking how things were going? After asking if we could add another day they replied no it was already rented to someone else. Just not a very restful vacation.

Unit was great and had everything we needed. No Complaints with the unit, staff or the owners. Elevators was kind of a headache.

Really enjoyed this vacation. Talked to Jill the-next day and she said our room was ready early but we tried and code wouldnt work. No email/text was sent to us like prior email said. With small kids wb nice . Other than that it was amazing- cant wait to do again! ❤️ Phoenix Rentals!

Location is great and easy to get in and out of. I had to call the day before we arrived to request the lock codes as they were never emailed to me, not sure why. Check in was very hectic, waiting on elevators and a long line to buy the parking pass. From the moment we arrived at 4:20 to actually being in the room took an hour. Elevators were pretty efficient-- we waited from 2-3 minutes to 20 minutes during our stay. The beach was very nice, clean and not that bad of a walk from the condo to the water. The pool was adequate and had plenty of seating available. A Kona Ice stand was set-up in the pool area which we visited several times. Room 404 worked ok for our family of 4. The master bathroom was was very small and dark. The condo had many signs of wear and could use some maintenance (toilet seats need replacement, kitchen equipment was pretty rough, and a deep clean throughout). Would return to Orange Beach but will most likely try another property.

The noise drives us from patio an even inside condo.can not enjoy gulf.should of been told an giving options.or at least reduce rate.also was not told of new parking fee's.worst stay in 6 years at phoneix.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo for a week! The Phoenix property is so beautiful, wonderful views of the ocean from the 4th floor, new family room furniture is comfy and all the kitchen amenities you could need. We will definitely be back! October had the best weather and the ocean was very warm.

Pros: Great location, fast elevators, plenty of space in the condo. Pool and splash pad were clean as well as beach boardwalk. Always someone cleaning in community areas. Could not hear through walls/ceilings like some condos. Family friendly, trash chute and elevator very close to room but not close enough that people were constantly outside your door. Vacuum and broom for cleaning.

Cons: very minor things - every dish in the place was dirty. Dishes in cabinets covered in grease and crumbs. Seemed like everything had been swept under the furniture. Needed some general repairs - deep gashes in living room wall behind one chair, patio furniture rusting at feet and unlevel, dust ruffle in master was ripped and hanging.

This condo was amazing! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Its on the 4th floor overlooking the ocean and the splash pad was right below us. The pool was awesome, and just a short little ramp to the sand! The location was perfect. Restaurants right across the street and Walmart about a half mile down the street. I would definitely stay at this condo again!

From the get-go, communication was excellent. Prompt responses and explanations, easy to work with and makes changes. Check in process was so simple, arrived on our own time to a clean rental unit. It was the perfect size, had everything we needed and the location and view was AMAZING!!! The property was quiet and we had no issues in our unit! We will definitely be staying in this unit again!

We love traveling to Orange Beach in the Fall and this year was the best yet! We loved the condo, views from the balcony, the cleanliness of the unit and facility. It was fully stocked, spacious and had great amenities! This is our favorite vacation spot! The best food, beach and pools.

Everything went very smoothly. I really like getting the room code so we don't have to check in when we arrive. The room was clean and was equipped w everything we needed. Phoenix vacation rentals checked in w us after we arrived to make everything was okay, which was nice! The only thing I didn't like was the wristband policy, never had to wear one before in orange beach. We always try to book through phoenix vacation rentals first, always a good experience!

I had an awesome time! The weather was amazing! The condo was nice, spacious, clean, and convenient. It’s on the trip where you accessible to you name it. Beach is in the back of the condo so you can instantly experience the “beach life.” I will definitely return soon. I will highly recommend it to my family and friends! I have 1 minor complaint; the iron board was broken on arrival. Other than that, 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me.

We had a fabulous family vacation staying in Unit 404! This unit is clean, really well stocked, comfortable bed, gorgeous views from the balcony and Phoenix V amenities were wonderful! We loved the sugar sand beach, swimming in the pools, seafood restaurants, tennis in the evening and shell hunting. We will definitely be back to vacation in this unit!

Everything was great. It was clean and had all that was needed. Bonus parking space right outside the door was so convenient! Definitely would go and stay here again.
