Phoenix West 1406

2 months in lovely condo, close to park and good restaurants

This was second year here in Orange Beach after 10 years of other vacations. Love the area. Phoenix West units are the best and we have enjoyed everything. Only 2 negatives, I am late in getting this review in because internet is unreliable. We lose use of phone and computers numerous times very day and have to reconnect to the network. The furniture in this unit is very uncomfortable and one chair broken. We have reserved another unit for next year because we do love it here. The staff here are very friendly and everything else is in great shape. Charlote does a great job and is very responsive to requests.
The microwave stopped working and it was replaced in two days.

This was such a beautiful condo. I felt like I walked into our own home! The view from the balcony was amazing! We could see everything down in the water, and as far out as the eye could see. My only two complains, and one has nothing to do with the actual unit. First, we cooked several nights since it was the week of the 4th. The smoke detector went of at least 5 times. We didn’t burn anything. No smoke at all. They are super sensitive, which makes trying to prepare a meal in the kitchen stressful. The second complaint has to do with the actual building. There are not enough elevators! There is a constant backup for the elevators, whether you are going up, or down. I know there is nothing they can do about it, but they should have at least two more elevators. Other than .that, we loved the condo! Beautiful!

This condo is just as beautiful as the photos. Everything was new, spacious and clean. The view from the balcony was to die for. It was a little too chilly to use the outdoor pools but our kids did go down the waterslide and we spent most of our time between the beach and indoor heated pool and hot tubs. We usually stay either here or at Phoenix West II and this is by far the best unit we have stayed at. The property manager was great to work with and she sent lots of communication ahead of any of our questions. The food recommendations on the website were spot on as well. We try to eat out as much as possible when we come to the beach and there are lots of great places to eat in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. We hope to come back soon. Thanks for a great stay!

The stay at Phoenix West was great as always. The rooms are spacious and have all you need to stay a week. Wish we had more time to spent but must get back to the real world.

Had a good time there are 2 things that was an issue the parking garage is a little dangerous they didnt think throughly when they designed it and the WIFI is ridiculous. No signal and it wouldnt even let us put on our own data had to connect to the condo which gave us 1 bar if lucky. Other than those 2 items everything else was good!

Everything wonderful except parking garage and elevators. Poor.
